  1. Start with the routine that is closest to the work

    A coop or livestock routine begins with sensible daily controls. Remove anything that does not match how you actually operate.

  2. Use controls for work people actively report

    A completion is for something done today, a state is for something that remains true, and a quantity is for a running daily total.

  3. Connect existing boards deliberately

    Use Manage board → Connect this board to animals or a place to apply context to unlinked items. Existing item links stay unchanged.

  4. Use quick additions before custom configuration

    Manage board offers feed, water, welfare, and egg controls. Add a custom item only when the common controls do not fit.
